Borussia Dortmund left-back Daniel Svensson has spoken about speculation linking him with Arsenal and Liverpool.

Both Premier League sides were mentioned as potential suitors for the Swedish international during the summer transfer window, and when asked whether he had heard about the rumours, Svensson said:

“I saw something about it. But I haven’t heard anything more about. Of course, it can be fun to read. There was nothing concrete and I had not heard anything more than what was in the newspaper. I am happy in Dortmund and look forward to continuing my journey there.”

Svensson was then questioned on whether he came close to signing for either club, and he issued a strong denial:

“No. Not at all. Quite honestly.”

Do Arsenal need another left-back?

It would be surprising if the Gunners’ interest in Svensson was genuine. Manager Mikel Arteta is not exactly short of options on the left-hand side of defence.

He can call upon Riccardo Calafiori, Piero Hincapie and Myles Lewis-Skelly if needed, so there are clearly no issues with depth in that position.

Arteta could do with reinforcements on the opposite flank

Jurrien Timber is back to fitness, after recovering from a chronic groin problem, but the Dutchman’s minutes still have to be managed carefully. Even during the international break, he was forced to sit out the Netherlands’ first match against Germany before coming off the bench versus Serbia on Sunday.

Ben White is currently sidelined with his own groin issue, and with Ezri Konsa needed in the centre of defence due to the continued absence of William Saliba, there is a good case for strengthening at right-back in the near future.

In terms of potential targets, the BBC confirmed earlier this month that Sporting Lisbon’s Ivan Fresneda is still on the club’s radar, but other candidates are likely to be under consideration too.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
