Arsenal have begun talks to sign Gilberto Mora from Club Tijuana, according to reports in the Mexican media.

Local newspaper El Porvenir claims that the Gunners have “approached” the teenager’s club about a move ahead of the January transfer window.

It is believed that the Premier League champions are trying to get ahead of the competition in order to secure Mora’s signature.

The likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Benfica have also shown some interest in the Mexican international.

Mora has a release clause in his contract

Club Tijuana won’t have much of a say in which team the teenager moves to as his contract includes a relatively low buyout fee.

Arsenal and any other team can pay $28m or £21m to sign him in January or at the end of the season.

What do Arsenal fans need to know about the player?

Mora came through the youth system at Club Tijuana, and he made his senior debut against Santos Laguna in August 2024 at the age of 15 years, ten months and five days old, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history. The teenager went on to score his first goal on his first start against Leon later the same month.

It wasn’t long before he received his first senior cap for Mexico, starting the Gold Cup quarter-final against Saudi Arabia in June 2025.

12 months later, Mora was named in the squad for the World Cup, and he made four appearances in the competition, including against England in the round of 16.

The attacking midfielder turns 18 next week, and he will be eligible to make the move to the UK in the New Year.

PakarPBN

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.

In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.

The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
